ALFA SPIDER OWNER SAYS ABOUT OUR GABRIEL SHOCKS....
Matt Morris of Greenfield, OH installed our Gabriel
shocks himself the first week of February 2004 and provided the following feedback:
"I gotta say there's going to be a lot of happy people out there soon. These shocks are great. They're a little stiffer than the ones I had on, and the tires grip the road better. They went on the car perfectly. And they look great. The only complaint (I wouldn't even really call it that) is that the nuts that secure the top of the front and both top and bottom shocks on the rear are a different size than the ones I took off. On the stock setup, both the top and bottoms were 17mm. The new fasteners are 14mm. It's not a big deal; now they're all 14mm... But, as I said, they went on good, about 15 (minutes) apiece counting jackup and wheel removal. And man, they make a huge difference. The car corners better and road feel is better. I can really tell what the car is doing. That also means I'm getting a few more bumps than before, but it's not bad. My wife couldn't feel a difference...
